  : - The staff were incredible attentive, professional and nice. From the receptionists to the cleaning staff, everyone made us feel very welcome and they were pleasant to have a conversation with.- Our room was spotless, cleaned every day to a high standard and smelling fresh.- The Long Island City area has a feel of up and coming - car shops, industrial looking, but we still liked that the subway station was a block away with 4 or so different lines, there were nice craft beer bars and you could get a fantastic view of the Manhattan skyline from 10min away.- While we didn’t use the facilities, there was a laundry and rooftop access available to guests.
  : Our stay was pleasant, but the reviews I read indicated to me a higher degree of comfort that I didn’t think was there. it was functional and a smart choice given the price point and location, but it was a place to stay, sleep and shower rather than a treat.- Sound insulation between the room and the hallway was non-existent. We could hear people accessing their rooms and speaking in a normal tone of voice loud and clear.- Housekeeping came very early, even before 9 and would wake us up due to accessing other rooms or knocking on our door. I’d recommend starting the cleaning service after breakfast, maybe even give 30min after that for people to set off for the day.- No vegan options at breakfast, including no dairy-free milk. My only option was bread and fruit, which is not satisfactory or nutritionally balanced so I found myself having to purchase breakfast every day instead.- The shower is incredibly strong that it hurts. There is one setting that controls the pressure and the temperature so there is no way around it. I was genuinely not looking forward to taking a shower.- No toilet solid, though there was a seat. And with the towel rail above the toilet it meant I also dropped a towel inside…- There were no plug sockets next to the bed and they were in locations that meant our electronics had to be on the floor.
