  : The elevator was horrible! Slow and it got stuck quite often.

  : It had lots of amenities for the kids, kid-friendly.
  : The quality of the hotel was not what was shown in the pictures. The balcony door was broken off the hinges, and the toilet seat wasn’t tightened. The elevator could only fit 2 to 3 people at a time and it was not certified. The hallways were hot as there was no air conditioning throughout the halls or the elevator.

  : The room was very nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Only issue I had was the elevators were very slow and a little run down. The place was a little out dated but over all it was a great experience! Pools were kept well and we could see dolphins right in front of the hotel. Would definitely go back.

  : Arrived at the hotel and was told (only after my card was taken to confirm the already charged room and keys were given) that the room we reserved and paid for was not available. We were told the hotel overbooked and other rooms were unavailable because of maintenance issues. The ONLY room that was available WAS NOT the room type we reserved and paid for. After driving 4 hours to get to the hotel, we had to desperately find new accommodations at a much higher rate. While we were in the lobby, making calls to find new accommodations, at least 3 other people came back down and complained about the state of their room. They took pictures of unclean rooms and broken handles on doors. The bathroom nearest to the lobby was unclean. We will NEVER reserve this property again. We are seeking a FULL REFUND from Booking.com as we had to pay for new accommodations at a different hotel because this Holiday Inn (3900 Atlantic Ave, Va Beach) could not supply the accommodations that we reserved and paid for (in advance of our arrival).
