  : The staff was very rude and not very accommodating. I checked in with a child with a disability and broken leg and they placed us on the 3 floor. Then the whole property was without power due to the storm but the staff lied and said that they went room by room and asked if patrons wanted a refund or opt to stay. This never happened because if offered I would have left on the spot! We had to call fire rescue to help with getting my daughter down from the 3rd floor. The employee at the front desk( he was of Indian descent) was very unprofessional and rude to the point that police had to be called to intervene. I will never, with a capital N , stay at another LaQuinta in St. Petersburg!

  : Location for our trip
  : We requested a newly renovated room but I don’t think there are any! Our room was damp, musty, we killed three beetles on the floor, mildew on both beds and the beds were never made up. Staff kept saying the manager was unavailable for Four days. One day they said they would adjust $ at checkout. Didn’t happen. Again asked for a call from mgt … still haven’t heard. I will pursue this. Unacceptable situation.

  : Limited staff was very nice, pleasant and helpful!
  : The safety flip brace on my door was stripped. I called the front desk who was the only visible employee on property at night. She happily came up with a screwdriver when she could, and tried to secure it..not possible. While there, she was able to get my TV working that kept saying "no signal" on the screen. No other staff were on property. The front desk lady did everything!A vehicle sat in the parking lot most all night with its engine running mostly. He was parked beside me and I checked looking out my window. I reported this to the same front desk person. She basically said that workers sometimes hang out in the parking lot. I also wondered why a nice orange table chair was blocking (or helping secure) the door to the next room.The breakfast sausage was awful! Whatever brand that was, it was the worst ever! The other breakfast items were good. The elevators were very slow.Even in the morning, there was no visible staff except the front desk person who was especially pleasant and accommodating. She was so very nice! The property renovation had a nice appearance.I would not book this property again. They also added an extra $5.00 on my credit card after I paid the total amount due to Bookung.com, who had already added an extra $5.00.For almost $150.,for one night with no amenities, no view, no pool, no visible staff, compromised security, etc., this is not a good deal :(
