  : The house was cute and the view was quite nice.
  : First issue was the price. Between booking and checkout, the price basically doubled because of some really aggressive additional charges that weren't shown in the original pricing. Also, there is a no-cancellation policy - even on the same day as booking - for which the cancellation charge is HIGHER than the advertised rental price. So be careful what you click on. Next was the check-in procedure. The property requires you to tell them what time you will arrive, and says you must show your driver's license upon arrival. We were slightly delayed due to bad driving weather, but arrived on time by skipping dinner. When we got there, there was no one at the house. After finding a phone number to call it turns out the described check-in procedure was just completely wrong and the person on the phone said that even though we had received (multiple) emails saying our reservation was confirmed, it was not. Instead of arriving and showing ID's, this company requires an online identity verification which felt very very phishy to me. But what could I do. Answer questions, long holds, disconnected phone calls, all while standing outside of the house hungry and tired. I thought it was quite rude.
