  : the staff was nice.
  : There was no water to start the stay. the owner was not available to refund the money or answer the question we had. The desk manager was nice and friendly, but could not answer questions. The facilities are old and run down, badly in need of an upgrade. Monterey overall is rundown and over priced. they badly need affordable housing and regulation on the number of people per dwelling. I don't' recommend stay at this hotel or any other in the area.

  : The deception of the photos using a wide angle lense made the room look larger than it was. The room across the hall had several yapping dogs that barked at everything and the room stunk, making it an unacceptable room to stay for us. My husband requested to be moved to another room, and was told there was none available. We did not stay, but left and found other acceptable accommodations. We found another hotel 5 minutes away.The only pleasant experience we had was with the young man at the counter.
  : The rating of this hotel is misleading.It all depends on the clientel of the establishment.The walls are not sound proof and should not allow barking dogs.There was no known phone number available to make contact with booksy.com to present our experience and find other acceptable accommodations. Access to report a problem with a booking should be available to booking.com clients to resolve issues like this that unexpectedly arise, and resolve them in a satisfactory way.

  : Location was good. parking could be a little better setup and designated.
  : Bathroom shower was extremely small. But bathroom as whole was very clean and usable.
