  : Never give them cash as a deposit. We need to check out and our money wasn't available. We were in a hurry and need to wait.

  : Only an hour drive to Yosemite NP.
  : Had to wait for our room to be finished being cleaned even though we said we’d be there between 3-4pm. Arrived at 3:45pm—Host said it would be 15min and that we could walk the neighborhood. We opted to stay in the parking lot and wait. When we went back 15 mins later, she had gone on break and sign posted said she would return in 10 mins. Got room keys at 4:15pm.Our family wanted to go swimming after a long drive only to find out that the pool had been shut down by the city due to pipe/plumbing issues and repairs needed. This should have been communicated prior to our arrival. Very hot weather and no pool available.Cleanliness— absolutely disgusting! Carpets were filthy. We were without shoes for ten minutes and our feet and socks turned BLACK. We wore shoes until bedtime!
