: We liked the historic aspect of the hotel, and how it was converted to a nice hotel. Large comfortable rooms with all the updated convivences.
: The only thing we didn't like was the staff person who checked us in, as she wasn't super friendly. All the other staff we met on our visit were awesome.

: The outside of the building was well-maintained. The lobby was warm and inviting.
: The staff, except one encounter, could care less that we were there. It was like they were interrupted from being on their cell phones to welcome us and check us in. We were given nearly no information about the hotel, including the actual room number we were staying in. The bathroom was super disgusting. The toilet seat was loose and paint was chipping off of it. there was a ring around the bowl of the toilet and there was actually grime built up in the bathtub. The carpet was full of lint and small fragments of trash. No bed bugs though. We did not ask to move rooms or receive a discount. We just needed a place to crash so we interacted with the room as little as possible and left early the next morning. The only amenity was complimentary coffee from 6-10am. I got coffee at about 8 am and it tasted burned.

: Architecturally beautiful building. Room was comfortable, clean, and ready upon my early arrival. Very quiet area and felt very safe. Staff members were pleasant and helpful.
: Further from downtown than I thought-not really a walkable distance, especially at night. Walks seemed thin and you could hear voices in the hall and room next door quite plainly.

: I love the building It was very special. It looks so cool. The restaurant was amazing. The bar and the food was good.
: The only problem I had was that the toilet was so low to the ground. It was so hard for me to get up and down. I do have issues with my bones. I have cancer, so it was very hard for me to get up and down on the toilet seat, but everything else was wonderful.

: The restaurant was wonderful and the courtyard area was peaceful and comfortable. The decor was charming but more upscale and modern than some of the surrounding hotel options.
