  : Condo was clean and fairly updated, especially compared to the others in this price range. We wanted to book a place with a pool, but never even saw it, didn't need it. It was nice that the hosts provided beach towels, chairs, umbrella and coolers.
  : It was fine for us, but overall, for $450 or so a night, it could have been much nicer. i guess that's maui!

  : The location was great. Very close to the beach and shops. It was super having beach equipment as well as a kitchen. Washer helped with towels and clothing.
  : There ware only four dishes, four bowls, etc. so I had to wash dishes after every meal. I didnt use the dishwasher as it would have been mostly empty. No microwave was also tough as I had kids and wanted tk heat up food, leftovers, etc. More pillows would have been helpful as well. We ended up using the decorative sofa pillows.

  : When we had standing water ,the property management team did come after 24 hours and 2 follow-ups to correct the issue. There were plants outside the complex. The location is near coastline, shops, cafes. Vacasa - the rental agency who managed the property -offered a welcome gift of locally made items to eat.
  : It's not one thing, it's the entire apartment. The rental was dark, characterless, small and the space is mostly dominated by a long, windowless hallway and bathroom. The place is so sparse if you weren't in Maui it would be depressing. There were 3 dinner plates. There were too few and limited items to successfully cook in the kitchen (beyond making an egg). There were some mason jars for glassware that I think the prior renters simply washed from their groceries and added to the cupboards due to lack of drinkware. There were 3 bath towels, 2 sets of sheets, all old. We were always at a loss for clean towels and had to wash and re-wash the three towels provided so many times I lost track. Rusted and stained beach chairs that cracked open were provided, but after one use we skipped them as all were in terrible condition. The tub held water that would not drain to the point we had to contact maintenance for sitting water and we couldn't use the only shower/bath in the apartment for over 24 hours. Every day trying to shut the front door and lock it was a struggle with the seal. Opening the door with the key pad, sometimes worked and sometimes didn't, even with the correct code. We'd be in the apartment in the evening and see the front door was wide open, as it wouldn't stay always closed. I spent 3 days working remotely in the morning from the living room table, looking at white dented board mounted on white wall in a Spartan living room. The sofa bed droops down starting at the middle and is almost un-sleepable for an adult. but for one child under 5 it was ok. We paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars for this rental that required 'cleaning' and 'property maintenance' fees that vastly increased the price (I am not adding the expected tourist or city tax fees). I would not recommend staying here.

  : I liked the room and the cleanliness. It was cute, and quaint. It was close to the beach, and there was a lot of shopping and places to eat really close by.
  : I didnt like that it was dark in the hallway, and crowded if you meat your neighbors in the hall. Also, coming from a more quiet area of Lahaina, it was not the calm beach vibe I was going for.

  : No good instructions were given to unlock the door just an key code. Two key locks with combos were present. No deadbolt. Door doesnt stay shut without significant effort. Back sliding door did not have the ability to hard lock. Toilet leaking on floor. Shower curtain had mold, pink and black. No AC throughout apartment, only window AC in room. No microwave. When we initially booked it stated in the detail area bedroom 1 - 1 queen, bedroom 2 - 1 queen. However the bedroom 2 after talking yo support was in fact a pull out couch in the living room. After, support contacted owner to supply the correct description that wasnt misleading. Apartment was seemed unsanitary and not some place we would like to stay at again. Apartment staff showed me were the trash was after two days of searching, at which point I was made to dig through my trash to take out recyclables while he watched. I was forced to check in with apartment security twice because the first guy lost my paperwork. Miscommunication with vacasa, some of which was my fault, but honestly I should need to contact and wait for a plumber and handy man on my vacation. It should be carefree and not worrying about scheduling. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
