  : The rooms were really nice, although probably not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. It was like in between a really good 3 star and a 4 star hotel. The decor was pretty and the bed was really comfortable. The wifi was good and consistent which made working easy. The location was great and central to everything I needed. The front of house staff and concierge were really nice.
  : I booked and paid for a double room that had a Queen size bed and futon that becomes another bed at the 2 person rate for ten days. A significant booking for the hotel. I stated very clearly in my booking that the reason I was booking this room was for my daughter to sleep in the futon bed and was assured this was fine. On arrival I noted that the futon bed was not made up. I had to ask for extra bedding for the futon bed and then had to make this bed up myself. This might be okay for a 2 star hotel but not for a 4 star hotel. The futon bed really just looked like a couch and didn't fold out as I would expect a futon to do. If it did nobody bothered to show me. I had to make up my daughter's bed and it was then never remade in the service and in fact her room was ignored any time the room was serviced. I ended up skipping service altogether as the first time the room was serviced they did a bare-bones service. Pulling up the blanket on my bed and not even making the bed. Not emptying all bins. Not restocking the mini bar. I had to ask for bedding for my daughter and even then they didn't make the bed. Nobody asked me about my daughters bed. I had to make the bed myself. Even then when I asked for extra bedding for this bed nobody came to make it for me and they didn't even provide sheets. When the room was serviced, nobody made this bed, nobody cleared away the rubbish in her room. The service was of a very low standard and not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. I in fact did my own room service in the end. They waited several days after I left the hotel to charge my account which is really inconvenient. I had to ask for extra toilet paper, I had to ask for the sink to be cleaned in my room. I ended up sorting out our rubbish myself. In general the service was of a really low quality and not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. They also seemed really understaffed with the front of house only having one person for an entire pool and cafe.

  : Really cute hotel à la Wes Anderson.I loved the pool setting, it was perfect to chill or work, and above all, the location is superb. It is great to access the main attractions in Hollywood blv, Paramount studio...Perfect for solo traveller like me :)

  : Very stylish and clean hotel. Pool area was lovely and the view of it was great from the room. I think these rooms are slightly bigger than the standard room, and the size of it felt just right. If it was any smaller I think I would have struggled. Loved the value for money, being so close to Hollywood and other tourist locations. The rooms are lovely, beds are super comfortable and the features in the bedroom are great, including a kettle and coffee machine. Their coffee at the cafe is also very good. I accidentally spilt mine and the server kindly gave me another one free of charge.
  : Some of the staff that served us seemed quite indifferent, almost borderline rude. Others were much friendlier. Parking is an extra $40-50 a day which I thought was very expensive, almost put me off renting a car which is a must in LA. The shower could have been better

  : Very helpful staff who addressed all of our queries and helped with local transport; very comfortable and clean room; proximity to Hollywood. We had pre-booked this hotel months before, so we consider the price paid to be very good value.
  : Breakfast wasn't available on our first day; the lift wasn't working most times, although the hotel has just one floor so not a huge issue. Our TV had no sound the first evening, but staff quickly sorted this the next morning.

  : Especially I loved its atmosphere to feel a good old Hollywood. Location was convenient for me to move around.
  : Because of its old building, I could hear snoring from the next room and footsteps from the room above.
