  : Good location, clean and roomy. Kitchen has good supplies. Plumbing issue was handled well and resolved.
  : In condo, full mattress on lower bunk was so bad we couldn’t sleep on it. Must be replaced. Notified Vacasa. Big issues with property management. Parking pass issued with incorrect dates and no beach access stamp. 3 opportunities for management to check accuracy - at printing, when local agent assembled arrival packet, and when local agent gave us our arrival info without doing a final check. We were held up at gate at night about 40 min, left on telephone hold by Vacasa’s 24/7 call line for 25 minutes while sitting in car at gate to try and get help, then call disconnected. Made second call, assured we would have the corrected pass first thing in morning when office opened. Stayed in condo waiting for it as we couldn’t park at beach (holiday weekend Saturday) without it. Finally gave up and drove to office around 9:45. By the time we got to beach with new pass at 11am we had already lost the morning and parking was terrible due to crowds. And we had prepaid Beach rental chairs and umbrellas waiting. Local manager’s ‘compensation’ solution for the cluster the night before and morning - give 4 women $50 credit to split for inconvenience. I guess our time and hassle we went through was valued at $12.50 each. My pre-retirement service recovery management training and response would have never even offered something like that for a big problem. Human errors happen, but recovery from those mistakes tell you a whole lot about Vacasa. We will not be using this property management company again, but would love to return to Hilton Head. I suggest this property owner consider changing to a different company so you don’t suffer on your rental due to their way of resolving problems on your behalf.
