  : The location is 10 minutes away from main street Fredericksburg and dozens of wineries. Cabin set back in wooded area off highway was very quiet. Several cabins on property in back of Mendelbaum winery and we stayed in the Almond cabin that has three double beds for 3-6 people. One bed was hard, one bed was soft and one bed was squeaky. Small table with 6 barstools in main room and one small bathroom that had plenty of towels. Key located in realtor lock box on front door.
  : Advertised as "bed and breakfast" but no breakfast available - just a coffee maker and small fridge and no vending, fresh water or food source on property. Winery was open, but had no food, wine or staff with the owner on premises that was disinterested in customer service. Major water leak from bathroom sink underneath flooring from bathroom into main room, so mold smell was overwhelming and water was coming up through floor. Light fixture was falling out of the wall with obvious electrical burn that blackened the wall. Linens seemed clean, but there were cobwebs all over the ceiling. Overpriced for the reality of cabin in disrepair and not as advertised in pictures or description. Maybe it was off-season for this place, but all the other wineries with cabins seemed to be booming.

  : The rooms were unclean, the rugs were not vacuumed, the sheets had not been laundered, the beds were full of pet hairs, the cable did not work, we had no running water all night due to it being shut off by a plumber because the shower was broken. We called for new sheets and were promised new sheets were coming and no one ever showed up.. This was supposed to be a relaxing and fun family trip and instead it was the complete opposite. It was a complete waste of time and money :(
