  : The beds were comfortable. Close to where we needed to be to ride the train.
  : Bathroom could use some tlc, Tub was slick, couldn't get a good temp on water for shower. Need more electrical outlets.

  : Very convenient to the railroad. Rooms are very cute and feel historical. Not modern in any way, but clean and comfortable.
  : The phone number on booking.com wasn't the hotel's number. The rooms are not air conditioned, but not much was in Chama.

  : The old hotel was quaint and the owners were so nice. Plus the location was great for catching the train ride.

  : The location was perfect for our needs, which was nearness to the train and cheaper than the nearby options. The folks at the desk were friendly and informative. The room everything we needed as far as functionality, soaps, and entertainment.
  : The room was very small and not level. It seemed as though we were leaning to the left while we were in the room and in bed. The TV was fine, but we couldn't have the coffee maker plugged in at the same time due to a limitation of plugs. The old radiator was still in the room, which would normally be fine, except the room was too small.

  : Metal exterior stairs to the hotel part of the building were steep and tricky to use . Ladies in particular struggled with their luggage as there was no elevator. These stairs could have been lethal in wet or snowy weather

  : It was close to the train location, which is why we booked here. No air conditioner needed, which was great, cuz there was none available. This was Memorial weekend. The food was good. This is a very, very old building. If you like not having any upgraded & modern amenities, then this place is for you. If you want to step way, way back in time, this place is it. River water is running thru faucets. Not drinkable. Free Bottled water was offered, which was nice. Security of your vehicle is safe @ the Chama railway center. Under new owners, so maybe it'll be renovated. Had ice cream available. Free parking. Had 3 meals, as restaurant on-site. Food was good. 3 meals offered, which was convenient.
  : Very, very old. Almost 100 year old building. Can hear every step. No air conditioner. No outlets. No plugs in restroom. I found one that I used to charge my phone, but it was an extension that was plugged to television. There was mascara on the sheets. No elevator. Everything has to be carried up 2 flights. No privacy. Everyone can hear everything. The owner thought we were gone & came into the room. Did not knock & I was laying on the bed. Very, very old everything. Musty, old smell. Very poor lighting. Windows are 100 years old & the hardware is 100 years old too. Doors, knobs, locks are 100 uear old too. Carpet is veryyy old. You might not want to walk without shoes on. Showers are by river water thru the faucets. No salt,pepper available/offered wiith food. No air conditioner. Old, old aluminim/steel heater. Did not use, but was in shock when I saw it. Building is past old. In need of really bad renovations. River water is running thru faucets. We didn't shower as river water is known to have funky bacteria & fungi. Learned that Chama has no security nor police from 12 am to 0600. High crime rate. Lock your vehicles. Don't leave anything visible. Break-ins are frequent. No help from any police, from midnight to 0600. No free breakfast.
