: Amazing location practically on the beach in a peaceful area where you can relax and enjoy nature. Lots of deer on the island, and it's so cute to see it walk around not being afraid at all. Free bikes and kayak are available. Breakfast served daily (vegan options). Extremely nice service. We enjoyed the place so much, and we're definitely returning!
: The place seems a bit old and would need some redecoration. But that doesn't affect the whole experience.

: The breakfasts were exceptional! Delicious and beautifully presented. Fresh coffee, orange juice and fruit every day. The Hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict Sunday morning was perfectly made! Not an easy task. The Barnacle was very close to everywhere we wanted to go and Wendy and her people were great hosts.
: The property needs some upgrades. The previous owners left Wendy some work to do, but our stay was very nice and comfortable.

: Very lovely location in the middle of the Keys. Nice accommodations and the new owner Wendy is very helpful and does whatever she can to make your stay a pleasant one. Her staff was great, and the cooked breakfast each morning was a tasty and satisfying delight. We especially liked using the kayaks (on their property across the street -- wonderful, peaceful waters for kayaking and swimming) and found the whole experience very relaxing and pleasant. We had everything we needed to have a great vacation and look forward to a return visit to see all the upgrades and changes Wendy has planned.

: The breakfast was very good, perfect amount, didn’t leave the table hungry. Was served on time and they did everything thing right. Went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. It was quiet and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom could use some updating. The towels were better than any hotel I have been to. The key deer were very friendly and adorable.
: Bathroom could use updating and the lighting could be brighter. I needed a bedside table for a cpap machine and cell phone. We couldn’t use the beach because of the seaweed but there were enough beaches nearby.
