  : Great location: near trailheads, great views, and close to amenities. The Room was very big and had loads of storage. The Mallards Restaurant patio has an amazing view. We were there during 4th July and the resort had put on live music and a bbq which was really enjoyable in such a scenic location. Pool looked great.
  : The room was not clean: There were crumbs and crackers from the previous guests all over; we requested a vacuum and even after this service the carpet was still dirty. The room was dusty: lamps and lamp shades, headboard and other surfaces were covered in visible dust. There were finger prints and streaks on cupboard and doors. There were cobwebs and insect husks in corners of the room. Outdoor furniture was covered in dirt and cobwebs and unappealing. Facilities were not as advertised: the gym was ‘being refurbished’ and unavailable and the on site restaurant was closed. The included continental breakfast was the most dismal breakfast I have ever encountered and would embarrass a 2 star inn: extremely limited selection; No fresh fruit; No cheese or ham; Pastries were undercooked; Coffee was bad and the juice was not available every Day.

  : This was a decent place to stay overnight during our road trip. The pool was nice with a deep end, heated and there was a hot tub. This is a family oriented place though, so there were lots of kids at the pool. You only get sun until late afternoon and then it gets shady and the mosquitos come out. We got a pet friendly room which has a small enclosed dog run that can be accessed via the sliding glass door at the rear of the room. The restaurant on site was closed and the one just down the road at there golf course was nothing special. But there are other restaurants nearby, as well as grocery stores and other amenities.

  : The first floor with sliding door was great for our family trip with the dog. The patio, was facing the pool which was great, with great space for the dog to walk about.
  : the resort is a bit older, and is under renovation in certain locations, which is visible.

  : Staff including checkin and housekeeping were nice.
  : We stayed there for the Huckleberry Half Marathon but with 11:00 am checkout I wouldn’t stay there again. After three requests we were finally granted a late checkout to 11:30 am. Not super helpful but a bit better than 11:00, I guess. Most hotels do a 12 noon checkout and I’ll book in one of those next year.
