Blue Skies Ahead by Freedom Vacation Rentals

  : Blue Skies Ahead was a lovely property- well decorated and fairly well stocked. I really appreciated how well the kitchen was prepared for actually making a meal- so many places just don’t account for that. The pool is right across the road so it is well situated in the complex. The vacation rental company communicates frequently which I appreciated. We did have a malfunction of our lock and the gentleman who responded was prompt and polite.
  : The main kicker was that the electric lock on front door was broken and would not engage- I called the staff- and a nice young came out with in the hour-after calling his manager he was informed that they knew about problem and there’s a key under the mat.... ummmm so our house was left unsecured on our trips and while we slept. I wish we were communicated about this before arrival. They send a bunch of texts giving information- this could have been sent as well. It was a lot further away than I expected. It is in Washington Fields further out than Washington, this makes it about an extra 10-15 minutes to get places. The complex is still being built so I imagine it might be noisier mid week.
