  : If you need a decent room and comfortable bed to spend the night on your road trip, you are okay with booking a stay here.
  : To be honest, I only stayed in Wall because I planned a stop at Badlands National Park on my road trip West and the return; otherwise, there is no reason to lodge in Wall; there is nothing there apart from the drug store. You are better off lodging in Rapid City, which has better quality accommodation and restaurants. This was the third time I had stayed in Wall on a road trip and stayed in a different hotel each time. Most hotels there are the same, so save money and book whichever is cheapest for the night you want to stay. I would probably say Best Western is best if you want something close to a decent breakfast. American Value Inn is the worst of the three I have stayed in. The hotels offer "free breakfast," but this is false advertising. They give you a voucher to a restaurant in town (probably owned by the same franchisee) to get two pancakes or a biscuit with gravy or French toast. No tea or coffee; it is a marketing ploy for you to buy food at the restaurant for a proper breakfast, and when you don't, the waiters funnily look at you. At least during my stay at Econo Lodge, they offer the voucher, have a few in-house breakfast items, and always have tea and coffee available at the front desk.
