Holiday Inn Express - Villa Rica an IHG Hotel

  : I LIKE THE BREAKFAST AND HOW CLEAN EVERYTHING WAS IN THE HOTEL. THE BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE ROOM WAS VERY SPACIOUS. HAVING THE COFFE AVAILABLE ALL DAY WAS ALSO VERY NICE.
  : IN ALL FAIRNESS THIS WAS THE WEEKEND OF THE COMPUTER SHUT DOWN. STAFF WAS VERY STRESSED AND SAID THEY COULD NOT FIND US A ROOM. I WENT ONLINE TO BOOK A ROOM AS WELL AS CALLED THE HOTEL TO VERIFY MY CONFIRMATION. THE 1ST THING OUT OF THE STAFF'S MOUTH WAS YOU DIDNT CALL HERE CAUSE I ANSWER THE PHONE. AFTER SHOWING HER THE PHONE NUMBER I CALLED WE MOVED FORWARD. THEY DID NOT EVEN GIVE US THE WELCOME BAG, WHICH I THOUGHT THEY WERE NICE AFTER ASKING TO RECEIVE ONE.

  : The hotel itself was decent, stuff was phenomenal and very professional, the price while booking was a nice deal, but once we got there it wasn’t making a lot of sense anymore.
  : Once we checked in and went to our room, instantly we could smell damp, half the room carpet was wet. We went to the front desk to ask for a different room and tell them about the carpet, unfortunately, they didn’t had any similar room available.Later on i tried to go on a pool (which was one of the reasons why i booked this hotel and paid a higher price than some other cheaper options in the area) just to find out that the pool is closed due to mechanical issues.The following day, we woke up for the breakfast at around 9:30 AM, we went there, half of the plates were empty, when we asked if they could add more, they said that they have nothing more left and thats all what is left. As far as i know, breakfast shouldn’t be “first come first serve”, if the breakfast time is from 7 AM - 10 AM then there should be food available for that timeframe.
