Lovely One Bedroom with a Pool

  : Good location and neighborhood. Easy access to freeways and some basic shopping nearby (groceries and restaurants). Pool was nice and clean. The owners/management were friendly and responsive.
  : This is an old property and particularly the one bedroom house was converted from a car garage. Screens on patio door and windows were torn or absent and with bugs/ spiders around we were afraid to open the doors and windows. My wife and daughter were constantly complaining of mosquito bites. I saw a black widow spider between one of the patio doors and its screen. The owner was quick to spray some pesticide and fix the screen when informed the next day - for that I am thankful. Bed was squeaky and its only because of the loud drone sound of ancient AC units that we could sleep without being disturbed by it. Dresser and other furniture looked like it could use some repairs and wall anchoring for child safety (and earthquake safety). Inside doors should have security latch as the key can easily be duplicated and presents a security issue. Kitchen was basic. There was no exhaust fan in the kitchen and the utensils seemed worn out. Curtain in the bedroom was too thin and let in a lots of light early in the morning. Some of the blinds also seemed loose and wouldn't turn. The washer/dryer screen door was ready to fall off and the washer seemed in need of servicing.

  : Nice location, good parking. Shame the weather was too cool to make good use of pool and outside area (can’t blame the owners for that!)
  : Cooking equipment could do with updating and somewhere to make toast!
