  : Very quiet--no noise from neighbors or the road. Clean room. Staff were responsive to our needs: reassured us before arrival that a late-night check-in was no problem; provided a space heater, extra pillows, and a fridge upon request. Location is very convenient for a visit to Joshua Tree National Park.
  : The heater in the room didn't work, and there was no refrigerator (it had recently broken down, and a new one was on order). But when we raised those concerns, the staff brought in a fridge from another unit, and they also brought us a space heater that was super quiet and worked well. One of the chairs in our room had badly stained upholstery, and the shower curtain had a big brown stain, but linens were clean and the room itself was clean.

  : The room as clean and well kept. My only complaint was the lack of heat. The front desk person said they just replaced the unit but it wasn't working.

  : The rooms are very small and poorly insulated. For this reason we needed to use the airco heating during the night which made an awefull lot of noise. There where hair in the bed that was not ours

  : If you are visiting Joshua Tree NP, El Rancho Delores is a wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff, nice, clean room, comfortable bed, and a well maintained swimming pool and close to the park entrance, all for a very reasonable price.
  : There is no breakfast available and the heat didnt work in the room. But the staff provided a quiet heater that worked quite well.

  : Sitting in sun at the poolside. Quiet: Not many people around. You are one of few guests. Free parking. Microwave, mini fridge. Fast food places somewhat of a walking distance from the motel (half a mile each way). (for a physically active person).
  : 3 nights: The bedsheets were not clean?? (brought my own sheets). The mattress was old and dirty and too soft, cratering in the middle, was 2 singles joined together. Investing in cleanliness and newness of bedding in a small motel is of main importance.

  : There were high winds, and sand and dirt blew into the room through the windows, and there was a pile of dirt/sand/debris that was inside the room by the door. No fitted sheets, nothing in kitchen except microwave, sink, stove and table/chairs.
