: Plenty of free parking. Room location was nice being able to look out on the water.
: We rented two rooms. One of the two was horrible. Everything in the room was damp (beds, chairs, rug) and it was freezing. The bathroom had pubic hairs all over the toilet seat. It had not been cleaned. I didn't like that the images on the website were nothing like the actual room. The web showed updated clean rooms. The actual rooms were old without the upgrades portrayed on the website. The front desk gave me the wrong directions to my room and was extremely rude when I needed her to show me where it was. Even though SHE was the one who gave the wrong directions.

: I was looking for the cheapest decent hotel for the night. I had never stayed at a Red Roof Inn before but some of the brands in the area I was familiar with had very poor reviews. This Red Roof had the best reviews of hotels in its price range.I usually stay at a 3+ star hotel, so I wasn't sure what to expect. While the facilities seemed a bit dated, my room was clean, with a nice bed / clean sheets, working TV with cable channels and good water pressure in the shower. On a hot night, the ac worked great (I had to increase the temp to keep the room from getting too cold). My room was on the river side, and it was nice to walk out and look at the river and American Dream. I would definitely recommend this Red Roof Hotel, for any budget consciences guest that wants to be close to NYC. and don't need a restaurant/bar in the hotel.
