  : Good location. Room was big. They washed and dried a couple loads of our laundry for us. Staff tried to make things good when we had an issue, but the place needs work.
  : Air conditioner was in rough condition. TV needed tweaking every time we turned it on. Refrigerator froze all our food and water. When we used the microwave, it blew a fuse.

  : a basic accommodation as we expected but nonetheless a pleasant surprise. For the hotel type, it made the extra effort for nice comfort touches and the staff was extremely nice. the town is also fairly basic and half the eating options were closed the one night we stayed but still - a good, relatively budget friendly option for near Rainer national park

  : Location is excellent for outdoor activities, in easy driving distance of Mt. Rainier National Park and Gifford-Pinchot National Forest.
  : Room could have been cleaner, but they seemed to be short-staffed, just like everyplace these days. Dining options in Packwood are very limited, so be aware if you have any special dietary needs.

  : Friendly and accommodating staff. The room provided all the basic needs for a stay.

  : Room in serious need of updating. Carpet was atrocious. Frig and ac looked like they were from the 70's. View out window was of junk pile in neighboring yard. Very overpriced, room barely met minimum acceptable standard.

  : Great location close to MT Ranier National park and not too far from Mt Saint Helens national monument. Also the motel is in the centre of town so a very short walk from shops and eating places. Packwood is a charming little town.
  : The motel had a water leak and so had to shut down the water supply for about 10 hours. I fully understand that accidents and failures will happen and I didn't mind waiting for the water to be restored, but it's the poor response by the staff that compounded the problem. We were not informed of the problem when we checked in and so were left to discover the problem for ourselves. We were also not kept informed of the progress of the work to restore the water supply, so we had to check for ourselves several times instead of receiving simple updates from the staff. We also had to buy our own water from a nearby shop while the supply was off. I think at the very least this bottled water should have been supplied by the motel. In normal circumstances I would have no complaints about our stay, but I don't think the staff handled this minor crisis well.
