: The room was clean, the bathroom was clean and the shower had all the hotwater you could ever ask for. The carpet appeared to be new or kept in exceptional condition. The bed was comfy. The facility was quiet and the location was next to the highway but couched in the woods so you almost did not notice.
: knowing that people were coming to stay at the place you would think that the air conditioning would have been engaged at some point prior so that when we arrived the room would not be 80 degrees inside which it was. We set the air to high and then went out. One thing i always do from years of traveling is to remove the filters from the air conditioner to see how thorough the cleaning of the rooms really is. I attached a picture of the filter showing at least 1/8 inch of crap that was not allowing the AC unit to work efficiently. This is very telling as to the type of cleaning that the owner considers acceptable. It was absolutely disgusting. I had to take the filter outside and first scrape the layer off and then douse it in the sink to clean it completely. both sides.
