  : We mainly stay here because it is within minutes to our daughter's house, whom we are visiting.Rooms are always clean and comfortable.Staff is generally friendly & courteous.
  : The motel has really went down-hill. The elevator, #1 is SCARY ~ makes all kinds of groaning noises and I pray we make it to our floors without stopping 1/2 way. #2 the elevator ALWAYS smells of marijuana & so do the hallways of the floors in which we've been assigned rooms. To my knowledge TEXAS LAWS PROHIBIT MARIJUANA USAGE & you're not supposed to be smoking in the rooms!The reason I didn't rate it well, is we are NONE SMOKERS ~ yet upon returning one night to our room, the room smelled of smoke and there was cigarette ashes in the toilet!! We reported it to the front desk when we were checking out!! SOMEONE HAD BEEN IN OUR ROOM ~ despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign we hung on our door. There was no evidence of the cleaning staff having been there. I made our beds & they were still as we had left them, we checked all our belongings and nothing of that sort was missing....but still, we had a NON-SMOKING ROOM and that person could have gotten us in a lot of trouble and unnecessary charges. I felt violated & it was very difficult to sleep, thinking that "someone" could come back while we were sleeping!!
