  : Location and breakfast were good.
  : No greeting while entering or checking in. The first room we originally were given was on the second floor. As we entered the had a mildew / wet dog smell even though it says no pets. We had a long drive so we immediately wanted to shower. The shower head was broken and barely spraying, it was more of a stream and you had to stand right underneath the stream of water. We always wear socks and/or slides so we don’t have to put our bare foot on the floors. Well, as we took out slides off and stepped onto the floor with our feet, the floor was wet. We thought maybe it was just that spot but as we walked around so was the rest of the carpet. That explained the wet mildew smell. Within 30-40 mins of us being in the room, 3 of the 4 of us had been bitten on our foot and ankles and had visibly new bite marks on us. We talked to the desk clerk and told her about the wet floor and asked if it was just cleaned and she said no and had no explanation of why floor was soaked. She didn’t have a solution for the broken shower head and didn’t seem to believe us about the bites until we showed her on the fresh bites on all of us. After seeing the bites she was then concerned. She said we couldn’t get a refund for the $314 we spent for two days to go to another hotel but she offered to switch us to another floor/room. The room on the third floor still had a smell but the shower worked, the floor wasn’t wet and we weren’t getting bitten anymore. Also, they only had two small wash clothes in the room and 4 drying towels and we had to request more towels since we had 4 people but we had to use the two small ones and then go trade the 2 dirty ones for clean ones?? Like I said the breakfast was good and the location was great but I would not return to this hotel in the future.
