  : The location was good.
  : I paid 500 USD per night for hotel that did not have Airco, no fridge, no gym and no restaurant. On the website it was claimed there would be fitness facilities which is not true. The restaurant is a completely separate snack bar next door where you can only order online, prepaying a lot of money for a very simple breakfast. On the booking website it was claimed that there would be dinner but the restaurant closes at 2 pm. The manager of the hotel (Ms. Wansek) was never present at the hotel and refuses to talk in person or even by by telephone. Can only communicate by e-mail.

  : I should have realized...a hotel in downtown Palo Alto, at a very reasonable price of $255 per night...must have been a catch to it. When booking via Booking.com it wasn't at all clear I was going to get a room with a shared bathroom for the entire floor! That made the entire stay uncomfortable, irrespective of how clean it was, or how nice the personnel was. The Hotel did send me emails in advance that day to make sure I knew about the shared bathroom, but while at work, I didn't see those emails until too late...I find it weird that there still exist hotels with shared bathroom. A communist concept imo...
