  : Our host Julie was really nice and fun to talk with and made some good recommendations on restaurants and things to do. Our room was large and had two beds in it. We had two flights of stairs to navigate (which we knew when reserving). Happily, there is a "luggage elevator" outside in the back that was super helpful for us to get our bags hauled up to our floor. (We didn't pack very lightly, so this was very much appreciated!)The location was great - just a few blocks away from the waterfront where most of the restaurants and shops are, so we were able to walk to just about everything we chose to do. The house is on a quiet street, so it was nice to come back to the after long days out and about.

  : the place/house, food, location and Julie was A-mazing. highly recommended!
  : i can’t consider this as my dislike to the place, since newport is a tiny town. the parking is a little bit tight, if you have an SUV.

  : The one good thing was the made to order breakfast, although finding out we could only have it at 9:30 was annoying (the breakfast is apparently scheduled individually by room on a first come first served basis and we apparently were the last to check in so had no choice)
  : Our room was on the third floor of a very old/rickety building and we are in our 70's. the only assistance offered for our luggage was a contraption that was make out of aluminum ladders and a shelf with a remote control - very unsafe.the parking was also first come served and if you're the last in you will circle the surrounding blocks a few times to find street parking.Not near downtown Newport or restaurants or shopping or the water.worst part was the room - not clean and a tiny/difficult bathroom (could barely turn around in the shower and could not bend over to pick up the soap - literally has to shower with the door open). There was an unsecured porch immediately off our room and the chain lock was missing (people use the porch as a smoking porch - ugh) and the WORST part was the EXIT sign lit up red all night long right over my bed.

  : Room and building were old so nothing fancy and it was noisy in the morning listening to football practice outside

  : No counter space in bathroom & poor lighting in bedroom.

  : Julie is a great host and a one person show. She is manager, greeter, valet, mai and cook and does a fine job of all. The Inn is old and tight, but clean and comfortable. The outdoor dumb waiter was especially helpful as we were on the third floor.
  : Parking is tight, but manageable. A few minor maintenance issues need to be addressed.

  : This B&B is adorable! Laurie the inn keeper is such a sweet hostess & made a delicious breakfast for us too. It is in a good location, however, if u walk it is a distance to Thame St. You have to be in good shape to walk it, which we did.
  : Nothing disappointed us.
