  : Common area on Roof top with lights and seating, close walk to beach and dining. Our room had entry area with microwave, fridge and coffee maker.
  : There was some noise from the bar next door, but they shut their music off around 10/11pm. Roosters nearby crow early in the morning, but it didn’t bother us or disrupt sleep. Ear plugs were provided by hostel, but we didn’t need to use them. We would definitely stay here again!

  : I can't understand the negative reviews of this place. You are warned about the cockerels before booking. Personally I'm from a farming background so the noise didn't bother me. Also, they go quiet then the sun goes down. The room was very clean, linen smelt lovely. Basic but everything you need. Bed really comfy. Shower powerful. Yes its cool but who wants a red hot shower in 30 degree heat. The roof terrace is a major plus. Mostly had it to myself. Towards the quiet end of Luquillo but if you don't mind walking its within 30ins max of everything you will need. It's expensive, but then everything on Puerto Rico is expensive. Check in was nice and easy and they checked on me that everything was OK. Would recommend to anyone staying in Luquillo.
  : Only thing would be that it would be handy to have a set of cutlery in the room. I should have really packed a set but forgot.

  : The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed and pillows. That's it!
  : The noice! The roosters next door were so loud -all day to the point I had to leave early in the morning and didn't go back. I was given ear plugs but when ypu have a farm next door with roosters .....ear plugs wasn't cutting it.I never met the owners or the employees, I got the keys from a lock box and returned the keys by sliding them under the door

  : Centrally located and the staff was very helpful
  : They do a great job of advertising the roosters, but it’s hard to describe just how loud and pervasive they are. 20 hours a day they will be screaming and it is a truly invasive noise. Also, there was no hot water and my door didn’t close.

  : was in a lovely little town very quaint, simple foods restaurant nearby was the best. Air-conditioned comfortable. lots of kitty’s around the property and right next door to little pub.
  : right behind this property is a property where the gentleman raises fighting cocks. They wake you up in the morning with their cock-a-doodle-doo in, but they supply you with ear plugs.

  : The hostel was right near the beach and mouth of the river. It was a short walk to downtown Luquillo. There was a cabinet in the room where I could lock my belongings. However; I did need to bring my own lock.
  : The water in the shower was only luke warm and no luggage storage options. There was no person on the grounds of the hostel when I arrived or during my stay. Behind the hostel there is a chicken farm and there are roosters in street in the front. There is a small bar next to the hostel that does not close until 1 am on some days.

  : I liked the cleanliness of the place. And the proximity to several tourist places to visit.
  : The lack of carpet in the bathroom, there was no hair conditioner and the maintenance of the terrace.
