  : Nice breakfast. Great coffee in the morning. Very friendly hosts. Great rooms. Great facility. Fair price in comparison to a hotel room that did not have the ambiance or would provide such a great breakfast. What was there not to like?
  : Had a little problem with the toilet in our room but was able to easily work with it and overcome it by myself: just like at home! Not a big issue.

  : A great grand house, a delightful kind owner. A wonderful simple environment.
  : We were assigned a third floor, without noting it could be detrimental, because we're 70s plus., Maybe the decision was based on our budget, or what was assumed to be our wealth. Climbing those stairs was detrimental. We were not informed of any options. There were healthier options.

  : Bed was comfortable. They had a stand up fan, which we liked plus it was very cool so easy to sleep even with our room being on the top floor.
  : We were told the evening of our stay we were having pancakes for breakfast. We asked if they had sugar free syrup. They said no but I would have thought they would go get some to satisfy a customer but they didn't. They had plenty of time to go get some. Minor detail.

  : No one was there. I called, I rang the bell from the outside. I waited for almost an hour. There wasn't any directions or information of where to go, what room or how to contact them. I finally left in search of a place that could actually accommodate me.

  : Location was convenient.
  : No one was there when we tried to check in. We were allowed in remotely 45 minutes later. Our room was still not ready so we were sent to another room. Our " upgraded room " ( upgraded by Booking.com) was actually the smallest in the house. The stall shower was literally in a closet behind the bedroom door. The room was quite small for a couple, would have been ok for a single traveler. We waited an hour for our host to appear yo check in then finally left to find something to eat. Upon our return from supper, still no host.Breakfast was the first time we met our host. Served a bit late, (20 minutes) it was simply pancakes, bacon, yogurt and some fruit. Guess we are used to a bit more "special" breakfasts at our bed and breakfast stays. The Halloween decor in the yards was rather tachy, not in line with a classic historical building. The entire home lacks, for lack of a better term, a woman's touch. There are historical furnishings but no little touches, feels more like a museum, sterile. We won't be back

  : The whole facility was run down. Our room haphazardly cleaned. Window shades broken or not there at all. The mattress should have been replaced years ago. Lumpy and uncomfortable. No lights on outside at night. Had to walk around cars to get to door to go in.Never met the host. Had to call a number to talk to them.Thete were 2 young women who were there, working, making breakfast.The most unwelcoming B&B we've ever stayed at.

  : Our confirmation number, with Booking.com, is 2198323319. We were given a room rate of $103.50. Tax of $16.56 brought the total to $120.06. We felt this was a great price for the experience of the bed and breakfast. However, when we checked out, the manager had no idea what the Booking.com price was. I told him approximately $121 to which he then added the 16% tax. We paid $140.36 which is more than we were expecting. It was very cold when we arrived at 8:30 pm. The room was also cold and there was no one around to tell us about the heat. It would have been hospitable, on the owners part, to have turned on the heat a few hours prior to our arrival. The bathroom was in the room but there was no door for privacy. We are unsure if we would stay there again. The host was very personable but the owner was not.
