  : When I entered the room, it stank of smoke, the TV was on, there was a half empty water bottle on the windowsill from the previous guest. I sprayed the room down with lysol, wiped everything down with antiseptic wipes, it was filthy. I then sprayed air freshener & tried to open the room's window. It did not open and the curtains were sorta taped up on one side, had a bunch of holes and held together in the middle with a pin or paperclip. I had to open the door to air it out as best I could. After basically cleaning the entire room, I needed a shower- the shower had two options hot or very hot no matter how I turned the handle. After the shower, I still felt uncomfortable and grimy but tried to get some sleep. I woke up around 3:30 am, felt like something was crawling in my bed.When I threw the cover back two roaches went scurrying. I took pictures packed quickly and slept in my car until the front office was open.Redroof staff told me that I could not get refunded by them, unless I tried another room and had issues in the 2nd room as well. I declined, citing that didnt make sense roaches probably don't make reservations and " I don't do bugs"Redroof staff then said to call booking.com to have booking them call Redroof and if Redroof's manager inspected the room & found bugs or the other issues (some of which I already took care of by cleaning) that then they'd partially refund my money. They were not interested in looking at the pictures.Needless to say that I will not return & don't recommend.

  : Cleanliness and actual items all rooms should have coffee maker working lights for bathroom and less roaches as the place has roaches,drawings on walls and even had no ventilation for the bathroom either that's about it though
