Hakuna Matata Maui Hostel

  : The hostel was very well located (30 seconds from a beautiful beach). The staff was friendly and did their best to allow its customers to enjoy their stay (a lot of free materials for snorkeling, surfing, and biking were at the disposal of the customers). The hostel is actually a big house divided into several rooms and two bathrooms. It is globally very clean and well decorated (the garden is really beautiful). The hostel is very well located because next to the beach but also super close to the city center (so it's very convenient if one wants to go out, do groceries or visit the city!!)Overall, the general atmosphere with the other guests was warm and respectful, which was very appreciable !!
  : Having a common area such as a living room with a TV or a sofa would be nice. Regarding the "hula" room, it was very clean but it was difficult to really ventilate the room with the windows. Also, even though the air conditioning was working well, it was definitely very noisy (so not very convenient for sleeping during the night). A real temperature difference was notable between the rooms (cold because of the air conditioning) and the kitchen. Even though the bathrooms were always clean when I wanted to use them, only 2 were not enough for the great number of people that we were (at least 10 people). Finally, the presence of several security camera in the kitchen and outside did not made me comfortable (even though i can understand that it's for security concerns, i could not very feel comfortable with the idea that i was filmed in a private property considered at home).
