Kailua-Kona Retreat with Ocean Views and Pool Access!

  : The cost was high and so our expectations were higher than what was delivered compared with other VRBO places we stayed at. The condo was fine and more than adequate. The kitchen supplies were good. The washer and dryer were nice to have access to. The location was solid but the view, although ocean view in the distance was not exactly what we expected. Inside parking was nice. Close to Walmart and Safeway was also nice. A short walk took us to the bay and all the shops (walkable within 15 minutes). The smart TV was great and allowed us to relax in the evenings.
  : For the cost the place was a little over-rated. The view was a bit limited. The AC was great to have but the window units condensed a lot of water out on the lanai that needed to be squeegeed into the drains. The ceiling fans on the lanai did not seem to work as far as I could tell. The sliding glass door on the lanai did not lock (nor did the screen) but being on the 5th floor it probably wasn't much of a security issue.
