  : The room itself was okay, but it was pretty run down outside with people loitering around. Bad enough that we left without spending the night. We like quirky old motels, but this was just cheap.

  : Quiet, cozy. It's on last chance gulch, you can hear the Cathedral bells ring(brings heavan into the heart) plus the view is beautiful. A park near by, plus walking in this area is safe, relaxing & lots happening. The office staff is coo Real coo she is solid Also, my dog lounges like the hound in love when we stay. He loves budget Inn The cleaning people are magnificent. Very accommodating, good people!!Did I say it was quiet!! Love the

  : Great location. So close to a really nice 'pedestrian only' area/mall with good restaurants and a really nice atmosphere. Hotel itself was clean and safe, with a well-lit parking area. Great value for the cost.

  : The staff was very friendly, and the location was great.
  : It was an old building that still clung to the smell of cigarettes. Also, I REALLY did not feel secure. The bolts did not work, and there wasnt even a chain.

  : I thought I would book a room close to one of my appointments. What mistake. There's not a lot of positives during my stay. I got a trash bag for my purse after being exposed to their bedbug infestation... That was nice... And I got a small cup of coffee. They tried to put me in a pet free room ... It was awful.
  : I left here feeling degraded and dirty. The front desk was rude and gaslit me. They told me after seeing the bedbug videos that because I didn't catch an adult bedbug, they didn't have a problem. They also told me they have been firing housekeepers that have been saying that they have a bedbug infestation. I couldn't even get a second cup of coffee after getting eaten alive.

  : Location was perfect for my trip. I was a grand marshal for the 100th anniversary of their Vigilante Day Parade. The parade start was almost directly across the street.
  : The property was run down and had vagrants roaming around it, as theres a homeless shelter across the street. But they didnt bother me. I could hear people yelling at each other in other rooms in the middle of the night. Disappointingly, I paid $110 a night on Booking.com. I didnt want to pay $250 a night down the street at the Doubletree. I was upset to discover that if I had booked directly with the hotel the cost would have been $63 a night. I paid a lot more by using Booking.com.

  : The motel is a couple of blocks from the retail and eatery area - but an easy walk. Parking right outside the room is nice. It was relatively quiet and I slept well.
  : Note that Helena's homeless community are resident in the neighborhood which might seem concerning at first glance. But it is actually reassuring to have locals with an eye on the area, which is a deterrent to mischief.
