  : Very comfortable for small family to hang out. Short walk to beach. Well-appointed bathrooms and kitchen. Back yard was great. Has everything you need. We loved it.
  : It’s a small house but they make the most of it. The biggest potential negative would be the steep and narrow staircase, not suitable for those with limited mobility. Also, the bedroom A/C units were NOISY.

  : This is a charming place in a convenient location. Manchester by the Sea, Rockport and Gloucester are all easy to get to from Plum Cove.
  : Our only suggestions would be to have dish towels and dish soap on hand. Need better lighting. That's really it. Everything else was perfect.

  : Hard to see down the road when pulling out of the driveway. Mattress in small bedroom is crunchy and noisy getting in and out of the bed. Upstairs shower doesn’t come out far enough. Left a day early so had to lock up the house.

  : We would like to let you know about our dissatisfaction with our stay at the Plum Cove beach house at 978 Washington street, Gloucester, Massachusset. Here are the reasons supporting our dissatisfaction; the presence of mice in the walls and the attic which prevented us from sleeping during the five nights we where there, the discomfort of the beds and the fact that they were falling apart (while looking for an object that had fallen on the floor, when I looked under one of the beds I found that it was ragged). No heat in the upstairs bathroom, also the back garden and fences need to be remodeled and repaired. As we say in Quebec, this house could use some love. For the mice problem, we contacted Vacasa. They told us that the issue would be taken care of the same day. There was a person who came the next day but the mice were still there til the end of the vacation. Since it was not possible for me to use my cell phone in the USA, we left another cell phone number to join us. But nobody phoned to inform us about the action taken to resolve the problem. It was only when I returned to Canada and was able to use my cell phone again that I found that Vacasa had tried to reach me on my voicemail. The other cell number was not used by Vacasa such has discussed.For all these reasons the value quality/money we’re not there.Finally, such a bad experience deserves to be compensented by Vacasa.We therefore ask for a refund in cash and not a credit, for a part of the cost of the rental as compensation.We hope to have a follow-up from you soon.
