: The home is nice, updated, plenty of room, quiet and clean. Walking distance to the beach and places to eat. Assuming the shower situation is resolved, we would stay here again. We enjoyed the hot tub and cable TV.
: The shower situation leaves a lot to be desired. There is only one shower, the shower faucet does not work properly and if you are taller than 5'6'" you will not fit under the shower head. Due to the faulty knobs, we could not adjust the water temperature, resulting in scolding hot water as the only option. We could not use the shower and had to use the tub to bathe. We eventually lowered the the temperature on the hot water heater, which helped. The management company sent a plumber, but they could not fix the faucet. The property also listed beach chairs and a hair dryer. Both were missing.

: This place was in a good location. The view is not that great, but it’s close to anything you may need and in a good area of Galveston.
: The beds are not actually beds. They are two foam mats put on an old box spring. This is an old home that has been renovated. It was not build for tall or big people. I am 6’3” and could not use the shower. There is only one shower and one bath tub (no shower combo. The way the shower is made meant that me head (anyone 6 ft or taller) would hit the fielding. I’m used to hitting the shower head... not the ceiling. The place was generally clean. There were splatters of something on the ceiling of both floors that looked like it could be blood or red soda. The carpet in the room with the twin beds had a finger/toe nail in it that poked my wife and my kids kept finding burrs in it after they would get them stuck on their feet. The shower in the master bath had used soap on top of the shower head and and a used bottle of shampoo. Many of the lights were also blown and needed replacing. This is a beautiful home, but the beds and the dirty carpet were the point of no return. For the price we paid, we expect there to be real mattresses and the carpets to be vacuumed.
