Lakefront Deer River Apt with Dock Fire Pit and Patio!

  : The location was very nice, right on the lake, and the look of the property was beautiful. Very homey feel with a electric fireplace that made the space a little cozier.
  : The access to the apartment was less than ideal, very hazardous, I imagine even so during the summer season. It is a steep rock pathway where the rocks are so uneven that trying to more luggage up or down is very difficult, and in the winter as its when we stay very slippery. The host lived in the same building, upstairs with non insulated floors, could here them moving around all the time especially in the early morning hours. The is a doorway to upstairs that was unlocked and the outside door didn't lock so no way to secure your property. There's a random hallway and closet where it appears the host store random possessions of there own but the access is not blocked off. There is no privacy, the only bedroom has sliding glass paned doors that don't even close. You can't take a shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor, and there is a jacuzzi tub, but it's so loud when running that it's not worth it. The appliances were filthy, coffee pot so dirty that it took and hour to brew a pot of what ended up being disgusting coffee. bought some vinegar and ran it through three times to find a bunch of nasty build up came out. Overall doesn't seem set up for guest satisfaction, feels more like someone's way of trying to make an easy buck.
