  : Clean and easy entry. Comfortable bed.
  : Some staff were not gracious when I asked for a television remote concern to be fixed so I could turn in the television; the phone cord to be made to stay in the phone handset; or for late checkout due to my flight change. A manager told me I could have a 12:30pm late checkout, then when checkout day came, arrived and banged on my door at 11am demanding that I open the door and vacate immediately. It was rude and unkind, and not what we had previously arranged. It forced me to yell out the door at her. I reminded her that I had been promised late check out. She startled me with the incessant banging, and I was not dressed to open the door. She yelled back that she never told me I could check out late, and that I owed the hotel a $20.00 late check out fee. I said ok. At 12:30pm, just as I was preparing to open my room door and roll my luggage out of the room to depart, she returned and began banging on the door again. I opened the door to acknowledge her as I gathered my things to roll out. I told her I had slipped in the curvy slick tub, hurrying and nervous because of her making me feel so rushed and unwelcome. When I walked out of the room she entered it, as though to inspect behind me. I always leave my hotel rooms as instructed (used towels on floor, etc.). When I got to the front desk a few moments later and offered to pay the $20.00, she said “you’re all set”, looking down at the monitor, never looking up at me. I felt rudely treated and didn’t know why, being that I was a considerate guest. I feel I am owed an apology or Choice Hotel credit, being a loyal Choice member. Perhaps the staff need hospitality and possibly diversity training?

  : I am not sure if the communication is off with booking.com, but in my reservation confirmation it stated that I will not be billed until arrival and I had until 6:00 PM to cancel my reservation. On my way into Atlanta, about two hours before my arrival, my card was charged the amount of the room. So, even if I would have cancelled, I would have had to wait two to eight business days for my money to be returned. Not cool because life happens, so that is why I chose that type of reservation! Then I called about 15 times, with no answer. When I showed up to the property, I was met with ATTITUTDE when I tried to explained what happened. The lady told me they had not received a call, even after I showed her my phone where I called 15 times! The man first tried to explain that it was the deposit that was taken out. I told him he was wrong. Then the lady tried to explain that when a room is booked over the weekend they charge the card on Friday for anything Saturday or Sunday. If that is so, it should have been stated in the reservation. I read through it and did not see this stated. The attitudes were TRULY not needed from them and definitely set my expectation for the rest of the stay!Skip to the room. The room was decent for the price. It was NOT cleaned properly AT ALL. I took a rag to the surfaces and got dust and other things. There was even something brown/red smeared across the wall - I have a picture. When I went to wipe it off, some came off - with only water on the rag and a little elbow strength- SO I am guessing whatever that was could have been cleaned off with some sort of chemicals! Not to mention the ROACHES that were in the bathroom the next morning crawling on my makeup. I killed them, but EW! Most of the outlets were loose and didn't hold the chargers in them so we had to use one top on one and one bottom on the other to charge things. The AC was TERRIBLE!!

  : Great and courteous staff. Great location. Comfortable room, and great value.
  : The carpeted floor in my room had a sticky spill on it that constantly stuck to my feet. The shower handle was defective, but I worked with it. I informed the staff at the end of my stay. The breakfast was sparse, and closes at 9:30 am which is far too early.
