  : Location was good, food was good. Room was clean & they provided a heater and a fan. Most of the staff was very friendly.
  : Bed was uncomfortable, lighting was poor. The week morning breakfast waitress was very unfriendly and rude to us. If she had been the waitress for lunch and dinner, we would not have come back. This is not a good first impression which is critical to a business. The other two waitresses that we met during lunch and dinner were very good, very very friendly.

  : The owner came down to check us in when we arrived after the office closed. She wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the hotel.
  : The rooms that have not yet been remodeled are a little threadbear, yet still clean and functional. .

  : The room we choose online by looking at pictures apparently didn't exist according to the staff. We baked a room with a sitting area and got a bed and bathroom. Looked nothing like the pictures.

  : The decor/style of the place was unique. The king sized bed was comfortable and I loved the sink and shower head in the bathroom. Would definitely stay there again.
  : We were about an hour early and did have to wait for our room to be cleaned but that was not a big issue, just slightly inconvenient. Had breakfast at the cafe and they were short staffed so did have to wait a while but the service and food was excellent.

  : We had dinner in the cafe the first night which was German night, it was delicious. The wait staff were so friendly and hospitable and our waiter was very polite and knowledgeable of their menu.
  : The coffee maker was dusty and the ice machine wasn't working.

  : The Dusty Boots Motel was in a very convenient location. The beds were comfortable and clean. We loved the "themed" rooms. We were in the Beverly Hillbillies room and it was so fun. There was even a "box" next to the beds that when you opened it it played the Beverly Hillbillies theme! So cute! The decor was really great! The towels in the room were large and fluffy. The restaurant was pretty good and it was very convenient to eat there each morning. We loved the old cookie jars and antiques in the restaurant. A bit quirky, but we enjoyed it. Great conversation starter! We had a GREAT server most days and the cook was really friendly. LOVED the banana bread in the evenings. That was a bonus! Also, unlimited coffee for a $1.00 was nice.
  : We really didn't see but one person when we checked into the motel and saw no other "employees" after that. The parking was horrible. We were afraid to leave at night thinking we might not be able to park when we got back! We realize it is under new ownership and there is probably some things that still need to be addressed. We were surprised at how small the room was as well, but it was ok and we adjusted. The lights would flicker in the room occasionally and there were hardly any electrical outlets! Being a "picky" house cleaner, it bothered me that the beds were not solid underneath and therefore you could see "dust bunnies" under the beds. The wall behind the sink could have been cleaned a little better as well. The shower only had a window ledge (which seemed like wood) to put our personal care items on. It would be nice to have a separate shelf and was somewhat worried that as that window ledge gets lots of water it could warp! ha Also, a "canned" light in the shower would have been nice, as it was a little hard to see in there if you took a shower at night. There was not a desk in the room and my son was trying to do his schoolwork, but I really don't see how they could find room to put one in there. The side table worked ok. There was no face tissue, which seemed a little odd, but it could have been due to COVID-19. Our room was next to maybe a boiler heater or something that clanged and banged each morning.
