  : Very easy, door code for the apartment main front door and then a lock box for the key at the actual apartment unit door. No complaints here.
  : The biggest complaint was that the host mentioned in the check-in instructions NOT to flush anything down the toilet, even toilet paper!! This is the United States, and Chicago of all cities in the nation, how can we not flush toilet paper down the toilet??!! The host didn't even provide a bidet, so what are we supposed to do, throw the toilet paper in the garbage, I mean come on, you must be kidding me!Furthermore, the host only mentioned this in the check-in instructions two days prior to check-in; if the host insists on having this condition of not flushing ANYTHING down the toilet, that should be mentioned in the description on the listing on booking.com. Had I known this, I never would've picked this place; who would??!!That's the biggest complaint. The only other small complaints are that one or two power outlets weren't working, and the building is old, so just be aware of that if you need newer construction.I do also want to say that I am not an unreasonable guest who complains carelessly. I washed all dishes, even the stove, and also took out the kitchen trash, along with replacing the kitchen trash bin with a fresh trash bag. I also happily and cooperatively did what the host asked me to do upon check-out; open the cabinet doors and leave the sinks on low drip.
