Real Comfort in a 2BR APT close to Wrigley Field

  : For what it is worth the place was nice if you just need somewhere to rest while youre out enjoying Chicago. The decor was also very nice though kind of "hotel tacky".
  : Though it is an ok place if you need somewhere to rest beware it wont be a good night's rest. The beds are by far the worst I've ever slept on. They are so firm and hard and extremely uncomfortable I've slept on floors more comfortable than these beds. Ive never gotten back pain but these beds gave me the worst lower back pain. Also it is extremely hot in the unit and though I know it is an older building the listing should have included that there is no way to turn down the heat and the radiators make a very loud, obnoxious hissing/groaning noise throughout the day, when I first heard it I actually thought someone was in the apartment and so did my guests. Also note that the floors are extremely creaky and loud. The layout is also very awkward if you are entertaining guests and the eating area is right next to the bathroom which is less than ideal. The unit is also on the third floor and has a lot of winding stairs which after a night on such bad beds is treacherous. Lastly, as my group was leaving the unit one evening for dinner the doorknob fell off the door from the inside. We thought we were going to be locked out but luckily it opened and went back on after a twist.
