  : we understand that hurricane Ian was devastating to the area. So as a responsible travellers we waited a couple of days and emailed the company representatives asking about the status every couple of days. They assured us several times that property only received minor exterior damage that was easily repaired. It was until weeks later on the afternoon of our arrival, they called and said that their property was destroyed by hurricane Ian. Further they would call us with alternative arrangements for our stay. of course they did not. They did refund us 3 days later. but we did end up pay 2-3 times the money finding locations last minute. Never did they really appropriately apologize for waiting until literally until the day we were in a foreign country and 2 hrs into our drive to the house, until they called. And the day we were due to check in, I received 2 separate emails with the specific wifi email and door code to the house. I have booked forever with booking.com. that ended with them.
