North Lodge On Oakland

Located on 1 acre of gardens this 1904 inn features a charming gazebo free WiFi and a gourmet breakfast. The Biltmore Estate a historic home with gardens and a winery is 5 minutes’ drive away. A flat-screen cable TV and ironing facilities are found in all the rooms of the North Lodge on Oakland. The bright rooms have country decor and an private bathroom. Some rooms offer a gas fireplace.

A parlor with a fireplace is available for guest use at the Oakland North Lodge Asheville. A second common area featuring stone walls offers views of the gardens. A business center is also found on site. A 3-course breakfast is served daily and features homemade muffins and breads. Freshly baked cookies and pastries are served each afternoon.

Beverages including coffee tea and cider are available throughout the day. The Blue Ridge Parkway popular for hiking picnics and scenery is 20 minutes’ drive away. : B&B had a terrific location and could have been a charming place. Room was well-furnished and clean. Parking was convenient.
: Rigidity of breakfast scheduling (9 a.m. or else). We had early reservations at Biltmore and had to leave the house too early for host's schedule. More like a remote Air B&B than a traditional one. Hosts must have had bad experiences with previous guests, as they had little signs all over with "do nots" and rules of the house. We even had to sign a liability/damage waiver when we checked in. Have never had to do that with a B&B during many stays over past 35 years.

: Our room was nice but smaller than expected. The breakfast was awesome. Great location
: The bathroom needs another curtain. I was undressing and saw someone walking the back steps. I’m sure they could have seen me naked because there was not a curtain covering bottom of window.

: Wonderful breakfast! Comfy bed! The location was very central to the Biltmore, downtown and shopping. The hosts were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay!

: What a wonderful visit we had staying here to explore Asheville! The breakfast was AMAZING! We really enjoyed breakfast conversations with other guests and the hosts!
